Before and
After
A professional
photographer had a great building, but had
intermixed his professional and personal space.
His
work life had taken over his personal time. And his
work files, computer, and tools were 'living' in is
living room.
While he had
great art and cool meaningful possessions, they were
hiding in the mix.
We noticed that
there was some metaphors present in his space, in
that there was actually no conversation areas, or
arrangement that welcomed guests. There are
also a lack of symmetry and a balance in his space
(and he admitted this was lacking in his life as
well). There was also a lot of fire energy in the
space.
We
created separation between business and personal by
moving all business related items to his studio
office space, and dedicated his home to his personal
life. We created a conversation area in his living
space, and even set the table for the new company
we are expecting soon!
He purchased a
few new items for storage, but all other object used
where his. We added more of a balance of elements to
the space through arrangement and shape, as he loved
his exiting color scheme.

Before and
After
Our professional
photographer had some issues with his gorgeous
studio as well. Yes, that is is front door hiding
behind the screen. It was actually blocked off at
the time of our consultation.
While we wanted
to take his thriving business to the next level, he
was always feeling pulled in too many directions to
make it happen, and was not attracting the kinds of
work he really wanted.
We did some
simple but effect arrangement in this space, to open
up the front door, move his work desk to the career
area, and also create a space for clients to sit and
relax.
